Who handles your data

This site is run by Butti, a freelance developer in Spain. For anything related to your data, write to the contact address in the footer.

When you visit the site

For each visit we store the page you opened, your IP address, the browser and system you use, and the date and time. It is used to see which pages are of interest, which areas people come from, and to detect abusive access.

These records are deleted automatically after 180 days.

Approximate location

Country and, where possible, city are derived from the IP address. That lookup happens inside the server itself, against a local database: your IP is never sent to an external service to find out where you are. Only the approximate result is stored, never an exact position.

When you use the form

The contact form stores what you fill in (name, email, phone if you provide it, and the message) along with your IP, and also sends a copy by email to the owner's inbox. In the suggestions form, name and email are optional. These messages are kept for as long as they remain useful to reply to you.

When you buy in the shop

For each order I store your name, email, the products, the amount, the date, your IP address and the consents you ticked at checkout, in order to manage the purchase, delivery, any withdrawals and claims. Payment is processed by Stripe, which receives your email and the amount; you give your card details directly to Stripe and butti.dev never sees them. Orders are kept for as long as needed for those purposes and for any period required by law.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses first-party cookies: one remembers the language you were offered, another keeps the admin panel session (used only by the owner) and, in the shop, a temporary 30-minute cookie lets you view template previews. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Browser storage keeps your answer to the cookie notice, the contents of your cart and a temporary identifier to count how many people are on the site at that moment, which is deleted when you close the tab.

Third parties

The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or analytics: everything is served from its own domain. Only two third parties are involved: the email provider, which delivers form messages to the owner's inbox, and Stripe, which processes shop payments when you buy something. Hosting is on a self-managed server.

Your rights

You can ask what data exists about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Just write to the contact address. Since the site requires no sign-up, normally the only data that exists is whatever you sent through a form and the visit log tied to your IP.

Changes

If any of the above changes, this page and the date at the top are updated.
